My work extends beyond individual wellness. Through Essential Solutions, dōTEAM and community initiatives in Bloemhof, I have had the privilege of educating, connecting and empowering people to create meaningful change in their own lives and in the communities around them.
dōTEAM — USE • SHARE • TEACH
dōTEAM is my organisation of Wellness Advocates and leaders, built around a simple purpose: to equip people with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools they need to serve others well.
Through education, mentorship and shared resources, dōTEAM supports Wellness Advocates as they grow from product users into confident wellness educators and, where desired, purposeful business leaders.
dōTERRA South Africa Founders
A meaningful part of the dōTEAM story is that four leaders within our organisation have been appointed as dōTERRA South Africa Founders: Daleen Steyn, Christine Lee, Chantelle Nieman and Lezanne Shone.
Their different journeys demonstrate that leadership does not have one personality, profession or starting point. It grows when people are equipped, encouraged and given room to develop their unique strengths. Read more about the Founders Club.
Daleen Steyn
dōTERRA South Africa Founder & Platinum Leader
With a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication and Graphic Design, Daleen’s career has included journalism, international marketing and medical-practice management. Her personal wellness journey inspired her to begin studying holistic health in 2015. Appointed as a dōTERRA South Africa Founder in 2020, she leads Essential Solutions and dōTEAM with a passion for education, empowerment and practical wellness.
Christine Lee
dōTERRA South Africa Founder & Platinum Leader.
A qualified language teacher with a passion for fitness and gardening, Christine transitioned from the classroom into wellness entrepreneurship. She founded A Handful in 2019 and developed a thriving community by sharing practical natural-wellness education. As a dōTERRA South Africa Founder and Platinum Leader, she empowers others to build with confidence while creating greater freedom to pursue their own passions.
Chantelle Nieman
dōTERRA South Africa Founder & Gold Leader
After building a successful hair salon over 20 years, Chantelle began incorporating natural wellness into her life and sharing it with her clients. Her business grew through authentic relationships, allowing her greater flexibility and more time with her family. A dōTERRA South Africa Founder and Gold Leader, she shares wellness naturally—from local sports fields to her international travels.
Lezanne Shone

With more than 25 years in the wellness and beauty industry, Lezanne is a somatologist, wellness entrepreneur and passionate educator. Since joining dōTERRA in 2020, she has built a global community through Team ŌIL—Origin • Impact • Legacy. As a dōTERRA South Africa Founder, Gold Leader and certified AromaTouch Technique Instructor, she equips others to create purpose, impact and legacy.

Bloemhof: when a town works together
In 2025, I had the privilege of serving as project leader for Bloemhof's journey in kykNET's Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar competition. What began as a community initiative grew into an extraordinary collective effort, bringing residents, businesses and community leaders together around a shared vision for our town.
Bloemhof was ultimately named Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar 2025, but for me, the real story was what happened along the way—the way ordinary people contributed their time, skills, creativity and energy towards something bigger than themselves.
That experience continues to shape my work through Essential Solutions and dōTEAM today: empowered people strengthen families, businesses and communities.
